About Me
My name is Julie Janicke Muhsmann and I am a personal coach, marketing professional, training facilitator and Reiki practitioner. I have 20+ years' experience in marketing and business strategy, as well as experience in media and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). I received my MBA (full-time) from The University of Texas at Austin. I earned a BA in Russian with a minor in Eastern European History from the University of California, Davis.
About six years ago, I had a profound moment of clarity. I realized I was far from the person I wanted to be and was utterly miserable. Without hiking the Pacific Crest Trail or traveling to India, I commenced on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth that, while sometimes painful as I realized many truths, was ultimately transformational, and I am filled with gratitude today. This experience has graced me with a sense of purpose and inner tranquility that I so desperately sought through various external means in order to fill an internal spiritual hole. I want to help you do the same. Sometimes we all need a little help from our friends.
I am a certified professional coach through The Divine Intelligence Institute in Allen, Texas (f. The Gardner Institute), which is an International Coaching Federation-accredited training program. The ICF is the leading coaching industry association and self-governed credentialing body. I am personally trained by the DI Institute's Founder, Jayne Gardner, Ph.D., MCC (Master Coach), LPC. I anticipate receiving my ICF ACC certification in the Fall 2017 upon completion of the required coaching hours and exam.
I currently live in Dallas, Texas with my husband and two rescued Labradors, Candy and Boom. We enjoy traveling and mountain biking, and often travel to mountain bike. We've biked in AR, CA, CO, NM, MN, UT, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Italy, and most recently in BC, Canada.
